Privacy Policy for Stone_Red’s Open Source Applications

Last updated: November 18, 2024

Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Stone_Red (“I”, “me”, or “my”) handles information when you use any of my open source applications (“Apps”). I am committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining transparency about my practices.

Information Collection

My Apps are designed with privacy in mind. They do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information from users. All Apps operate locally on your device unless explicitly stated otherwise in the specific App’s description.

Third-Party Services

Some of my Apps may use third-party services to enable certain functionalities. When an App uses such services:

  • This will be clearly stated in the App’s description
  • The third-party service’s privacy policy will be linked in the App’s documentation
  • You are encouraged to review the privacy policies of these services to understand how they handle your information

For example, some Apps use mod.io, whose privacy policy can be found at https://mod.io/legal/privacy.

Open Source Commitment

All my Apps are open source, which means:

  • You can verify the privacy and security practices by reviewing the source code
  • The source code is publicly available for inspection
  • You can contribute to improving the Apps’ privacy and security

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this policy and, when possible, announced through my GitHub repositories.

Contact and Support

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or any of my Apps:

  • Create an issue on the respective GitHub repository
  • Contact me through GitHub: Stone-Red-Code

App-Specific Information

For Apps that require specific privacy-related disclosures beyond this general policy, additional information will be provided in the respective App’s documentation or repository.
